Facing the Palais de Justice, its terrace invites you to enjoy the rhythm of the city and discover vibrant, honest and generous Provençal cuisine. During the week, a lunch menu designed to suit the rhythm of the city allows you to enjoy this cuisine in a more convenient format, ideal for a business meal or a break between two meetings. In the evening, the table takes its time around shared plates and seasonal dishes.

Inside, on the terrace overlooking Place de Verdun or in the leafy patio, Café Verdun offers three settings that reflect the spirit of Les Grands Carmes. Light, natural materials and clean lines create a warm atmosphere, combining the elegance of Aix-en-Provence with Mediterranean softness. Travertine, lime finishes, wood, chrome and ceramics sit alongside designer pieces and Jars tableware, with every detail celebrating a simple, contemporary way of life.

The time for the aperitif
With the Clef Verte label, Les Bords de Mer has made it its mission to encourage short-circuit sourcing, giving priority to local, responsible producers and seasonal produce. The wines, honey, olive oil and jams come from the Fontenille Collection estates in Provence.
The Bords de Mer restaurant promotes responsible gastronomy that respects nature and highlights the local produce of Marseille and Provence.

At Café Verdun, this approach will be reflected in the dishes as well as in the glasses: a cuisine rooted in its territory, complemented, when appropriate, by wines, olive oils and other products from the Fontenille Collection properties, notably the Domaine de Fontenille, located 35 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, in the heart of the Luberon.
