Les Grands Carmes continues the story of the Carmelite convent through understated architecture where light becomes a material in its own right. Lime finishes inspired by the colors of Cézanne’s studio capture the changing daylight and bring the spaces to life. Founded around its thermal springs, Aix has long embraced the art of slowing down. Les Grands Carmes carries that heritage forward.

an iconic address reinvented
Café Verdun reconnects with the history of a landmark familiar to the people of Aix. Open throughout the day, it follows the rhythm of the city.
